A high-stakes strategy game using playing cards as a metaphor for Capital $.

Learning to play is easy. Winning is more difficult than you think.

The simulation incorporates volatile markets, capital calls, and challenging strategic options about what to buy, when, where, and for how much.

HOW TO PLAY

The objective is to use playing cards to purchase properties (matching suits and values), and reach a target $AUM

The main “game board” is a screen consisting of Property Blocks laid out in a 3 by 5 grid.

Each Block represents a property for sale. Within the block is the price of the property and the playing cards (Capital) required to “purchase it”.

Below the Grid is the Player’s Hand with Three (3) playing cards representing the Capital available to the player for purchasing properties.

Play occurs when a player taps on a card in their hand and then taps on the property they want to purchase.

When a card is played, a new card is dealt (appears).

When a property is purchased, the Block changes to a Gold color, the value is doubled and added to the player’s AUM score.

The Property Grid is dynamic. When a property is purchased, adjacent properties increase in price reflecting a perceived increase in value.

When a player finds themselves in a situation where they have no cards can be used to purchase a property they can elect to make a “Capital Call” and receive 3 new cards. Player’s can make Capital Calls only 3 times.

The simulation Game ends when… (a) a player reaches their $AUM Target or (b) has a frozen hand (no cards to purchase property and no more Capital Calls).
